In August 2011, I wrote a blog about the drug of the forbidden fruit.
Today, I found an article that seems to be a correlation to that blog and I wish to share the link here. It's entitled, No Such Thing As Free Porn.

Someone once said, "knowledge is power, but wisdom is what teaches you how to use it." Well, I have learned quite a few things over the years I have been on this planet and I wanted to share these things. Searching for the "perfect" title that would make it known that I am aware of the "fool who claims to be wise" scripture in the bible, I realized that even a fool can teach. Thus, my blog title was born. And like the saying goes, "we are what we eat". Enjoy!

God Is Real = God Israel
You may have heard the title. You may even call it a name. But one thing you can count on is that God...is real. Let me explain...
Even if God is a Delusion (hint, hint), He's still real because a delusion is a REALity of the mind. And since in the mind is perception, even the psycho-logical delusion of God is still a REALity. I mean, if God really IS a Delusion (a book by Richard Dawkins, which I have) and delusions are real, then so is God......right? Ahhh.....the logic of a psycho. Always basking in the glow of the psycho-logical. Which is why psychos should only seek help from the minds of THE-rapists. (I'm going hell for that one. But.....I'll be back in three days!)
I digress. If you think that 'psycho-logic' comment was something, keep reading. You'll at least get substantial evidence for my claim of how even fools can teach. 'Cause, you may be thinking right now, that I am one.....lol.
I resume.
Of course, a belief in the God Being is a personal opinion, but it happens to be shared by the majority of the entire planet Earth's population in some form or another. Are they right, are they delusional (there's that word again), what? Well, whatever one may think about those who believe in a Supernatural Being whom they cannot see, just know that we may not SEE God with our eyes, but we can definitely PERCEIVE God without minds. Which is one reason why it's called, "spiritual" sight.
I spend the vast of amount of my waking hours in thoughts about God and the reasons correlating to His, or Her, existence. So as I "ask of God who giveth to all men [and women] liberally" for wisdom - James 1:5 - I am awakened to a phenomenon I like to call, God Logic.
One day, I noticed something because I spend as much time as I can reading and studying the Holy Bible, which is believed to be God's Word(s) by many. In fact, it's STILL the best-selling literary juggernaut of all time, fiction or non-. So it makes one wonder if it's because this God whom it's about had a "hand" in it. Maybe even a "foot", too. Like when a certain food is so good it even affects the soul, taking its rightful place as Soul Food, that one says Momma (or Daddy) "put their foot in it". Must be some seriously clean feet....haha hardy har.
But what I noticed is something that I think only a Being like God could pull off. The name(s) of God and what they represent if you rearrange them in certain ways, or anagram the letters or look at them with a keen eye reveal interesting "messages".
For instance...
When Moses wanted to know, when he arrived at Pharaoh, whom shall he say sent him, God's response was simply, "I AM". So I'm thinking, "that's it?! You are what?!" The obvious whisper in my Gos.......(I pause for effect).......in response to my cheeky question is, "God". Not just any god, THE God. So I put the two together and the I AM is GOD became the result.
"Duh", you might say? Just bear with me. Patience is the love goddess and she likes details. (I think she's smiling at me....hee hee hee.)
So later on when God chose to give His people a name, He decides to call them by HIS name. Or at least, one of them. Most tend to think of the I AM as the result of the tetragrammaton YHWH, which for the most part is unpronounceable. And that's all well and good and even factually correct. However, and this is what I think is awesome, what are the names of the people that God calls His own? Israel. Which is where my brain almost collapsed in on itself AND exploded at the same time from the sheer brilliance of this "revelation". Say what you want, but ISRAEL sounds a lot like a southern drawl version of IS REAL. Coincidence, or Divine Comedy that just happens to be pretty cool?!?!
Since names identify the nature of things (usually), and have the power of meaning behind them, and people have a tendency to name their children with a name that means something, and even when we give little nicknames to our friends or family or co-workers or even people we just don't like, the name fits a particular meaning related to the person. (That was a mouthful.)
So when you consider the scripture in 2 Chronicles 7:14, about God's people who are called by His name, you essentially get this hidden "message".....
The I AM is GOD. And since God IS a REAL being...
The I AM GOD, ISRAEL. Almost like an introduction. "Hi! I AM GOD. And my name Is Real."
Which makes IS (or being) REAL the express nature and quality for God and this is basically the phonetic name of the people He calls His own...ISRAEL.
Apropos. This eventually led me to this little providential composition:
If you ever have doubt
that God ISRAEL,
just look at the NAME of His people.
Now....if you think this is just a coincidence, then I implore you to consider that the root word of coincidence is coincide - the killing of pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters.
I'm joking. (Sorry....lol! I could have resisted, I just didn't.)
Seriously, though. The root word of coincidence is coincide. Which, according to dictionary.reference.com means:
Listen, this may all just be clever wording and may not mean what I have represented. But for those who believe in the Holy Bible God and think that there is something pretty ingenious about this, then in opposition to what Christopher Hitchens calls his book title, that God is not GREAT, I humbly solicit to differentiate. Because if the I AM GOD IS REAL, and He cleverly hid this "message" and orchestrated it to be found one day, then that ISRAEL GOD is definitely REAL to me and positively GRRRRREEEATTTT!!! As Tony, the Tiger would say.
I close this inspired blog thought leaving you with these words from my substantial log of Unknown Quotes:
Someone Once Said, "that if the road to hell is paved with good intentions, then the HIGH way to Heaven must have been paved with bad ones. For God is the forgiver of a penitent heart." T.T.F.N. (ta-ta for now)

The Pastor's Pasture
Is there a snake in his grass like the serpent in the Garden? Does it have dangerous weeds that choke the beautiful plants and flowers or poison in the fruits and vegetables like the evil in the forbidden tree? Or burning weed, the smoke of which people are getting "high" on? If human beings are the imperfect, short-fallers of the glory of God through disobedience and weakened flesh, should those feeding in a pastor's garden be wary and watchful of the diet they are being fed and feeding on? There is no doubt that those who deliver the Words of God, at least those with a godly heart, are honorable, but yet imperfect, MEN (and Women) of God. But are they the perfect SON of God?
(Recently discovered scripture as support...Jeremiah 23:1)
If it is universally agreed amonst Bible believers that, "all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God" and that includes the men and women of God who deliver the Words of God, or feed the sheep of God, then is the bread we are fed, the seeds that are sown within us and the water that we drink from our pastors imperfect as well? Can we assume that imperfect men and women are capable of delivering a perfect message?
"Peace....be still", as the Lord Jesus once said, to those of you with passionate loyalty to your church leaders. For these questions are not intended to suggest that pastors are not to be trusted or followed. That's not intended at all. However, scripture does tell us that there are false prophets, wolves in sheep's clothing and those who are unlearned and unstable in our midst who twist the meaning of the Bible's words which is subtle in leading many astray. For this reason, are we not to be careful what we eat and very selective of the pastures we feed in and the pastors we feed from?
It is often said that "to err is human", "we all make mistakes", and "nobody's perfect". If words are how we communicate, express, denote, describe, determine, and identify things, motives, desires, will and choice then it is imperative that those words be used with extreme care, consideration, thoughtfulness, and pain-staking clarity and understanding whether given out or taken in. For if the meaning of a word is contaminated, so will the message be, so will the feeder be and so will the fed be.
Someone once said that, "the human body doesn't produce waste because it can only separate what is good from what is bad based on what is put inside of it." When we consume food or drink, our bodies break down its elements into things it will need for energy and sustenance and discard the rest as waste. Whatever we put in out bodies will either be accepted or rejected. Sometimes immediately by the north hole, or later patiently by the south hole, if you'll pardon the imagery. (Sorry. There's laughing in my head.) So if our bodies do this naturally, shouldn't we do this with our minds spiritually?
We ingest information by consumption in two main ways: by the head and the heart through the mouth and the mind. Our mouths take in natural food, our minds spiritual food. When we hear or read by ear and eye the information transmitted through soundwaves and light waves, whether it be music or words, that information enters us and the process of interpretation begins. Sometimes the interpretation is immediate, sometimes it takes a while. But whatever the timeframe, one of two reactions takes place: the information is accepted or rejected. Usually based on the pleasure or pain produced. But as complicated as we humans are, when pleasure is the measure, we love it long time, all the time, every time.
It has been often said, "we are what we eat". If this is true, then don't we have to be careful what we consume, where we consume and who we consume from? If our pastors' pastures are essenced by the imperfect men and women who feed us, then don't we owe it to ourselves to learn from our bodies and keep the good and discard the bad?
This inquiring mind would like to know.
