Parties. Political parties. Right there, you have a huge problem. The biggest problem. A problem of division. There is a mystical effect to one of the most influential powers on planet earth and within the human condition. It's the way we express, reveal, and conduct ourselves through communication. That power is in the realm of words.
Words have meanings. Thus, they have power. And the power of those meanings will have an affect on a society whether those who use the words understand this or not. Let me explain.
The problem with 'parties' in governmental affairs is in the semantic power of the words. When the hidden wisdom imbedded within the meaning of words exerts itself, the sagacious foregos silence.
In the American States, there used to be unity, until they stated 'partying'. The Union began to break into parts and those parts started partying. (It's a common thing when certain types of people get power; they don't know how to act, properly.) Then the separation prompted the people to begin choosing which party to go to. Some could afford to go to the rich parties, some could only afford to go to the poor parties and the rest didn't like parties at all. Next thing you know, we have divisions.
So now we have these different groups of people who believe in different kinds of ideas and as a result have formed into different political parties that are at war with one another. Thus, we have the problem. People having different political philosophies who form a group is not a problem in itself. But groups are one thing; parties are another.
But how can a 'group' be 'a-part-y'? They are a-part. But Y? (Sorry....there's laughing in my head.)
In political 'parties', you have the illusion of a group when it involves government. Because a government is for the people, which is by definition, a unit of persons, a unity. And a government can't afford to be politically a part, not can it be run by any political party, nor can it afford to have political 'parties' because they are ridiculously expensive. But when a people are no longer united, they are no longer a unity. They are now a-part, and have become a party. And as we know, parties are expensive.
The American States can no longer be called United because it has two main controlling and warring Parties. And these Parties have run "U.S." into trillions of debt and is costing "U.S." trillions of dollars. And any President who stands before the American Congress and the American People and says that the "State of our Union is strong" is either lying, blind, grossly incompetent, or selling something.
So until Americans stop 'partying' with their political parties, thus causing "U.S." to be a part, and start uniting with a good government union (Ahem...Independents, hint hint), thus prompting "U.S." to be United again...we're going to remain separate, broken, and fallen. Making "U.S." a House forever divided against itself.
A Unity or a Party? A government, thus, a people, can't be both. So it's ultimately up to us to choose whom we will serve. Those who want to politically divide and break us apart into parties, or those who want to philosophically recombine and unite us into a State of Union?
One could say that it's the perfect choice of those who have the wisdom of an Independent opinion because in the end, no other opinion matters more than the individual who is the only one that can change it. They say, "beauty is in the eyes of the beholder". But so is one's perception of reality. So what is yours?
It's always wise to remember this: Political parties are ruled by rulers who are measured by their dictatorial tomfoolery. But governmental unions are led by leaders who are followed by their oratorical sagacity.
Someone once said, "knowledge is power, but wisdom is what teaches you how to use it." Well, I have learned quite a few things over the years I have been on this planet and I wanted to share these things. Searching for the "perfect" title that would make it known that I am aware of the "fool who claims to be wise" scripture in the bible, I realized that even a fool can teach. Thus, my blog title was born. And like the saying goes, "we are what we eat". Enjoy!

Avoid Christian sects and denominations
Avoid Christian sects and denominations
As a person who was raised in the Christian faith, I can talk.
Many people will not address this issue, but I will. I’m actually writing about it also. Don’t know if what I write will get published but I’m gonna write it anyway.
Christianity has enough challenges without having to deal with the different sects that have been created and become the perverted branch of Christianity called denominations. It’s written that Jesus said that a house divided against itself cannot stand and that’s exactly what is happening to mainstream Christianity.
People say that they don’t like organized religion. And they are usually referring the the Christians, Jews and Muslims which all have the same "father", Abraham. But Christianity is more prominent in America. Some even say that America was founded on Christian principles. Well even if it was, the founders of this country understood the key principle about God.......free will. That way a person is responsible for their actions, good or bad. These founders also understood that people needed to be free to worship as they chose. God doesn’t make people follow God. They are allowed to chose and the founders of this country, if they were Christians, understood that.
Kevin Smith’s Dogma, addressed this pretty well, to me. If you haven’t seen the movie, then you won’t understand what I’m talking about. But one of the characters in the movie said that none of these Christian sects have gotten it right because they are all too self-righteous. I agree wholeheartedly. With that self-righteous comes arrogance and if there is one thing that Christians should NOT be....is arrogant.
By virtue of their own admission, Christian are SINNERS! This makes them a prime target for ridicule and scorn when they act with such arrogance and high-mindedness to outsiders. How are they supposed to be honorable stewards of the faith if they act like this? As a Christian, one should be as humble as one can possibly be. It’s a slap in the face to what Jesus did for what so many Christians have done to the heart, soul and face of Christianity’s purpose and mission. The biggest problem with Christianity is the arrogant, unwise and unstable Christians who make absolute fools out of themselves with their lack of humility and self-righteous attitudes. And someone needs to call them on it.
Well here I am.
So many Christian leaders use the Bible and their positions to mentally dismantle their "flock". It’s not really their flock but they try their best to make the congregation think so. And they succeed. Just like crooked politician, these so-called church leaders cater to the weakness of the people who follow them. I’m talking about the Christian leaders in these sects of Christianity who are shameful. The ones who make you feel worse when you leave the church than when you went in. The ones who have duped their followers into an unquestioning and unchallenging stupor.
Christianity is not the problem. It’s the unwise, unlearned, self-righteous wolves in sheep's clothing that have manipulated and damaged the quality and honor of the faith. And the people who follow and are members of these sects are like the blind following the blind and are NOT making things any better. And many times, they don’t even realize it. If they do, they think that something is wrong with them and that they are being rebellious and against the church leader, and therefore, GOD. I know, I felt the same way. Until I begin to really pay attention to what so many of them were saying and matching it up with the Bible.
The one thing I have learned about church leaders in these perverse sects of the Christian faith is that they mean well, usually. Their intentions are good, usually. But that’s what is leading so many to a proverbial hell and the Christian faith is losing its core honor because of this. These so-called leaders have lost their way.......AGAIN!!! I’m glad that my mother once told me to "pay attention". I took that to a whole other level. I pay VERY close attention to details. If we don’t, we don’t catch mistakes, errors and downright stupid, selfish choices that lead to more and more unnecessary pain and misunderstanding. This is why I’m so adamant about word meanings and grammar when people write and speak.
Christians are good and evil. In some ways, it cancels itself out and you can’t really say what Christians are. So I have realized that there are different levels of Christians. It’s hard to define what a Christian is because if a person professing to be a Christian’s actions are incongruent with what Jesus teaches, then can they really be a Christian? Well, I have to say yes. I say that because they have professed it. If they believe in Jesus and what he did, that’s makes them a BASIC Christian. It’s just a matter of what KIND of Christian they are: an honorable and wise one, a dishonorable and foolish one or a confused and lost one.
The main problem with a LOT of Christians is that they leave the learning about the faith up to the people in the pulpit. This is a problem because Christians tend to think that the person in the pulpit is the infallible man or woman of God and that any and everything a person in the pulpit, giving the sermon, says is always right. Well, that is very dangerous. I literally heard my mother say once that she heard a woman in their church say she believed that if she was pleasing the pastor, she was pleasing God. How sad and how dangerous for that lady. I can only hope she has changed that thinking.
Church leaders - pastors, evangelists, reverends, elders, deacons, church teachers, prophets - have a unique kind of control over their followers. The main reason is because people need tangibility. They need someone there to see and hear. Church leaders kinda feel that role as the representatives of God. But what these followers fail to think and consider is that these people are just as flawed and imperfect and sinful as they are. Because of this and the danger of a church leader falling into arrogance and sinful ways, a person is to have a relationship DIRECTLY with Jesus, the Father and the Holy Spirit. That way, they can help to admonish their leaders when they stray. Someone once said, "...that the best kind of teacher and leader is the kind that can still be taught and led. And sometimes that’s by the very people they are leading and teaching." If a church leader doesn’t subscribe of conform to this principle, they are unworthy and not fit to be teachers.
When Christians allow the man or woman of God to be their sole sense of righteousness, they become Myrmidons - a subordinate who executes orders unquestioningly or unscrupulously. These type of Christians are the ones who follow sects of Christianity and have become the bane of religion because they take a part of Christianity and build a religion around it. Catholics, Presbyterians, Episcopalians, Mormons, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Pentecostals, Baptists, Methodists, Protestants, 7-day Adventists, A.M.E.s, Orthodoxies, Lutherans, Anglicans......blah blah blah blah blah.
Why O’ Why do these people do this? This is not what Christianity is and not what it was meant to be. And why is it that so many of these so-called church leaders make people feel bad when they question what a church leader teaches? ARROGANCE. SELF-RIGHTEOUSNESS. FOOLISHNESS.
This confusion of the sects is what confuses the outsiders who may have a real interest in Jesus and the cause of Christianity and are looking for a spiritual home that calls to their heart and hurting souls. But they find themselves turned off by the bickering and silliness and confusing teachings of all these differing versions of Christian denominations and don’t know which way to go. And since they are outsiders, they don’t know that Christianity isn’t supposed to be broken off into sects like this. This kind of compartmentalizing of the Christian faith is warned against in the New Testament. Christians begin breaking off and saying, "well I’m a follower of this apostle and this apostle and that apostle...", and one of the writers reprimanded them for this. So why do these Christians who follow these different sects continue to do this foolish thing?
One of the things I have learned is that way too many Christians don’t actually READ their Bibles. They don’t study it. They don’t search it. They don’t ask for wisdom about the scriptures that are hard to understand as the Bible instructs them to do. But I guess if they actually READ the thing, they’d know that. And the worse thing about all of this is, so many of them don’t even take their bibles to church with them when they go. How foolish is that!! Where are the wise church leaders who need to say this to the people who are members and frequents to their church? Where are the church leaders who have an open forum for the questions of the people in the congregation who disagree with what they may have taught based on scripture? And where are the church leaders who don’t scorn their "flock" or anyone who has an honest and legitimate question or challenge about the wisdom of what was being taught?
James 1:5 - If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. Which basically means that God welcomes, even longs for you to come to God with your questions and seeking of wisdom. And unlike humans who scorn you, God won’t upbraid (1 : to criticize severely : find fault with 2 : to reproach severely : scold vehemently) for asking your questions.
Pronouns aside, the above is one of my favorite scriptures in the Bible. I love this because it lets me know that I can bypass the MAN or WOMAN (who are flawed) and go directly to the source when they upbraid you for questioning them and their methods; which is what I do. I listen to what the man or woman says, but I verify it with the source. If I see something that doesn’t line up or add up with the established teaching of the Bible, I question God. God allows it, PEOPLE DON’T!!
How many times have a person in the faith of Christianity or even outside of the faith ask a question about what was taught that they disagree with or something in the bible and a so-called Christian or church leader make the person feel bad (upbraid) for asking the question or posing the challenge to what was being taught? How many church leaders have told these people, "If you question me, you are questioning God!"? HOW ARROGANT! HOW STUPID!!
Well, I’ve had enough. I’m going after these people. I’m going to challenge the Christians of today who are like this with the manuscript (hopefully, one day a published book) that I am going to write.
I am on a mission. Like Neo from the Matrix, I’m going to show these spiritually craving people what the disorganized, mind control pricks that call themselves church leaders what they don’t want their followers to see. And if I get published, I’m gonna piss a LOT of them off! Well good. Because like the title of Neal Boortz’s book says....
Somebody’s Gotta Say IT!
All Christian Sects are unlearned and unstable and they wrest the faith. The only Christians that are worth "following" are the ones who are NOT a sect or denomination; the ones who are unseen from the eyes of the world because they are the humble ones and keep themselves "unspotted from the world". They live by example. They love by example. They are true, honorable representatives of Jesus and the purpose of the Great Commission by example. And these honorable Christians don’t seek glory or face time because they know that they are flawed and that the glory goes to Jesus the Christ.
Being a Christian is a humble path. A quiet path. When you hear people running around broadcasting that they are Christians like its some kind of high honor and they deserve your homage and worship, these are the Christians you should challenge because they need to be deflated from their arrogant puffiness. The very concept of being a Christian tells other people, "Hey. I’ve screwed up in my past and I needed help to fix my life." NOT, "Hey, I’m a Christian. You should follow me. You should worship me. You need to follow my rules." If anything, a person should feel a bit of public embarrassment for being a Christian openly because it broadcasts the fact that one is a SINNER. That embarrassment should create humility and it’s own version of honor in the eyes, mind and heart those who are just as screwed up and are looking for a place to better themselves. THAT’S what Christians need to understand.
The wisdom of Humility.
